There is only 60 days left before Maurice flies from London to Durban with the Lions Raw Foundation during the World Cup. He will be in South Africa for two weeks where he will be coaching HIV children within the Durban township of Kwa-zulu, eight miles south of Durban. During the day Maurice will be working with the children coaching football, and in the evening he will be working with the street children of Durban. He will also spend one day visiting Shalom, the spiritual home of Angus Buchan, who’s work with HIV children and adults in South Africa is renowned has been a great influence and motivation to Maurice. Also, Maurice will also be meeting up with Gary Bailey, friend and former Manchester United and England goalkeeper, to take him through the charity’s work.
The trip is fully funded through Giftaid and by Maurice’s friends and family.
